XTerra Trail Run World Championship at Kualoa Ranch on Oahu this past weekend. This is a 21k/10k/5k race. Looks like one of the most beautiful trail runs ever, maybe someday! It really captures the beauty of single track, and also the ever present possibility of falling...and rolling down the hill. My personal theory is that if you didn't fall at least once, the race does not count!
Even World Champs fall and roll, as you will see. Her name is Sally Meyerhoff, and she was the first female to finish, taking the title.
