The day has arrived! Today we run Coastal's Diablo Half Marathon once again. Obviously, the first half is slow, the second is fast and a blast. 3420 feet up, and then back down. It's gonna be a fun day!!
Thank you, Allen! Your yellow shirt pulled me up to the aid station, I kept catching glimpses of it when I'd come around a corner, then you'd be out of site....I was trying to just keep that group - you, Tony, and Janeth (??) in site and knew I'd at least get to the aid station, lol. For sure not as planned, but getting to the summit felt darn good!!
That probably wan't exactly how you planned it, but it was great seeing you storming up that hill and to see Brian and the kids in the finish area.
