Brian found a sched on line!
These workouts are tough, and doing 6 a week in any order is a challenge, but I am so happy to actually know what I'm supposed to be doing according the program.
I'm sure there is a method to the order, so I'd rather have some guidance that way rather than just picking one and doing it.
Looks like Max workouts start week 6.
I am starting week 4 and have been doing 6 workouts a week, sometimes 2-3 a day if I have missed a day.
I have done every one of the max workouts already, (I have actually done every video multiple times), but usually only work in 2 Max workouts a week, so the last 4 weeks should be challenging.
So far I feel great, stronger than when I started.
I am unsure if this is the best program for someone who is marathon training, but that's not what it is designed for, so that makes sense.
My calves are almost constantly fatigued, not so much so that I can't run, just enough that I can't give my runs my all like I am giving my workouts.
So some tweaking my have to take place as training picks up.
I have been wearing my compression sleeves the past week as much as possible.
As for Marathon training, I printed out the sched today and will start my first week tomorrow. It's the same sched we always use, so nothing new that way.
It will be different to be getting all my mid week runs in by myself pushing Bubba in the jogger, but it can only make me stronger.
It'll do me some good to not have Brian to rely on to keep me focussed.
Long runs on the weekends will be together.
I'll post some pics from this weeks runs later tonight.
