Yesterday

I rug burned the bottoms of my feet.

Yep.

Went to put on my running shoes and realized I had a problem.

I have always worked out bare foot - helps build up your foot muscles, strengthens ankles, makes you work harder to balance/engage core more....it's just what I have always done.

Doing Insanity Max Cardio Circuits.... bare foot.... on carpet = rug burned feet.

The take away from this??

1. A new way to measure my efforts : If I don't end up with rug burned feet after doing Max workouts I didnt' move fast enough.

2. Wear shoes, stupid!!

    Actually I suspect your feet will toughen up and it won't be a problem in a week or so. But you might have worn out the rug by then.
